Lefteris Brillakis decided to surprise his girlfriend with a marriage proposal out of a movie.
The couple went to the movies last night, and it turns out “Hacksaw Ridge” is a truly life-changing film, at least for them.
“This can’t be happening,” said Chryssa Spiridaki when she suddenly saw her boyfriend on the big screen at the Appolon movie theater in Rethymnon, Crete.
Her boyfriend wasn’t part of Mel Gibson’s new film, but he wanted to make a memorable marriage proposal. And he did, as an emotional Chrysa replied yes.
Then the lights went on and the couple kissed after exchanging rings. It still remains uknown if they actually managed to watch the movie that changed their lives.
