A 5.2 magnitude earthquake struck south of Lesbos island in Greece at 10:50 p.m. (local) on Saturday. The quake’s epicenter was 31 kilometers (20 miles) south of the town of Mytilini. The quake was at a depth of 10 kilometers (6.2 miles).
No damages or casualties have been immediately reported.
Last Monday one person died and over two hundred families were displaced from a 6.1-magnitude earthquake that occurred in a marine area between Lesbos and Chios.
